Creamed spinach


16 oz bag of fresh spinach
3 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves minced
2 tbsp flour
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp salt and pepper

Start by cooking the spinach in a pan, add a little spinach at a time, let it cook down a bit and add more until all of the spinach is cooked.
Put the cooked spinach in a colander to drain any extra liquid.
In the same pan melt the butter and add in the garlic to sauté for about a minute.
Keep stirring so that it doesn't burn. 
Add in the flour continuously stirring so there are no lumps.
Whisk in the milk until it starts to thicken, remove from heat and add in the spinach.
 Add salt and pepper.
